Try Scuba Diving – Halifax

The operator will take you diving in a controlled and enclosed environment to give you a taste of why this sport is so popular. This first dive experience will involve full training and safety instruction after which you will descend into the water for your dive. If you’re considering trying Scuba Diving on your vacation this program is for you and will give you a great head start to any future underwater experience.

Vital Details:   

Children as young as 10 years old can participate.  There is no upper age limit. Disabilities won’t necessarily stop someone from learning to dive.  There is a release and liability form that you will be required to sign.  A dive questionnaire needs to be filled out before completing this course.  Participants may require a dive medical to be undertaken before completing this course.  All equipment is supplied.

The Weather:  

This experience is not weather dependant as your dive takes place in a controlled pool environment. 

Session Length:                      

This experience is up to 4 hours in duration.

Numbers:        

Expect to complete this course with other participants.

Dress Code:

Participants need sun protection, their own swim suit, a towel and a T-shirt to wear in the water to cushion you from the scuba apparatus, which can sometimes rub against the skin.

Spectators:     

Spectators are welcome during your diving experience.

You must be reasonably relaxed in the water and in good overall health.  Please contact the Total Experience Customer Service Team to discuss individual requirements.

This experience is available year round.  We recommend you book 14 days in advance of your preferred date.
