Enchanted Forest Tour - Junior
Ride the Excalibur Gondola up Blackcomb Mountain to the Enchanted Forest where your professional guides and Racing Huskies will greet you and get you prepared for the ride of a lifetime. After a hands-on orientation to the culture of dog sledding you will run into the quiet and majestic old growth forest for a truly Canadian experience.

Vital Details:
No experience required. Minimum age of 2 years is in place to participate. Children must be well dressed, warm, and be able to be outside in winter conditions for the full duration of the tour. All guests are required to sign a liability waiver. All persons under the age of 19 years must have a parent/guardian sign on their behalf. The maximum weight in a sled is 550 pounds. You will be charged $50.00 per 50lbs over the allowed weight limit. Children’s price is valid when accompanied by 2 adults. Backcountry sports activities are not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, suffer from back or neck pain, heart or respiratory distress. If in doubt, consult your physician prior to participation.
The Weather:
This experience is weather dependant. It is not undertaken in adverse weather conditions.
Session Length:
1 hour round trip. This experience departs 9.30am, 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm daily.
Numbers:
There will only be 1 child and 2 adults as passengers in the sled together with your driver/guide.
Dress Code:
Weatherproof shell jacket and pants, warm synthetic under-layers, synthetic or wool socks, light gloves, hiking boots, sunglasses and any other personal items that you require for spending a few hours outdoors at this time of year. Blankets are provided in the sled for your additional comfort. You may want to wear ski goggles as a precaution against snow kick back by the dogs.
Getting There:
This experience begins in the Whistler Village. A free shuttle will take you to where this experience will begin. Full details will be provided when booking with Total Experience.
Spectators:
This experience is not suitable for spectators.

Availability:
This experience is only available from November 25th through to March 31st depending on snow conditions. We recommend booking 14 days in advance of your preferred date.

Included with this experience are an energy bar and a drink. Don’t forget your cameras to capture all the magic moments and magnificent scenery. Included with this experience is a Whistler Blackcomb sightseeing pass valid for the day of the experience.
